Pump station design is very complicated work. First of all, we have to analyse the quality of water from river. The filter systems are necessary for different kinds of water. Usually, filter equipments are not enough for big amount of water (i.e. 30m3/s). Filter channel and dam are needed to separate dirts from water. Secondly, we have to think about the different water levels in different seasons ( rainy season or dry season) and have a smart way to take water for pump station.
